The Invisible Jedi: Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 4?

"I sense something; a presence I've not felt since...Season 3?"

I am beginning to wonder if James Arnold Taylor insulted Plo Koon or accidentally hit a wolf with his car, because there has been a noticeable absence of Obi-Wan Kenobi from this season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The season started off with the Mon Cala arc where we got a heavy dose of Anakin, Ahsoka, Padme, and Ackbar.  Then we moved on to Shadow Warrior which was a heavy Jar Jar, Anakin, Padme episode.  Following that up with two droid episodes starring R2 and C-3PO.  Up next we are getting a four part Umbara arc which looks to feature Captain Rex and the new General Krell mainly.

Obi-Wan has had a few minor cameos, but its pretty strange to be 6 episodes in and potentially 10 episodes in after the Umbara arc and one of the three main characters of the series hasn't made a real impact.

I hope we get a lot more Obi-Wan in the second half of Season Four.

  1. Well we do have Mr Maul and Mr Oppress to look forward to later in the season, could this be round 2 of a fight that Obi Wan thought was over?
Could be a big story arc for 'Old Ben'....

  2. Yeah, I miss me too! : (
Thanks for the Blog about it. Since we already recorded this season last year I know I'm in it I just can't tell you when or where! I've had some little cameo voices in a few episodes so far but all in all I'm with you all, I miss Obi! Let the CW folks know I guess with your comments and e-mails to them. Thanks for the support! 3. Well there have been pictures released of Obi-Wan with Anakin and some clones that looks like the beginning of the Umbara arc, since they are in front of a hologram that appears to be the Umbara terrain.

  4. Thanks to Mr. James Arnold Taylor for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment. Cameos are never enough for one of the two biggest Heroes of the Republic during TCW.

  5. I really miss Obi-Wan. He is the main reason I watch. I am not a fan of Ahsoka. And Anakin has always been whiny. I want the REAL Jedi!

  6. Absolutely agree, Obi-Wan has always been given such great characterization by TCW and in particular, by JAT! It would be nice if he could be given his own episode arc again, much like the long-ago Mandalorian one...there's still so much to learn about him!

  7. Give us, Obi-Wan, Mr. Filoni!
Give the super-annoying Anakin Skywalker a big season break, I am tired of the Chosen Brat!

Give us a development on Obi-Wan and Satine or give Kenobi more screen time in the Darth Maul arc...

Please stop using Anakin all the time cause there is no point of using the angry teen whiner.
On Dac wasn't it better to use a Jedi called THE NEGOTIATOR since there were possible Civil War tendencies going on!? Plus Anakin is known to be unreasonable and very rash in such situations!

    MORE KENOBI in SEASON FOUR!!!

  8. Yes more Obi Wan! BUT please no more of the wimpy Obi Wan impersonator that appeared in episode 12. What was up w/ that A** kicking he got from the Zygerian? In the og comic version Obi Wan wiped the floor with a 4 armed Besalisk, yet in TCW version Obi's the mop being flung around... and Obi's witty banter was missing :(
