CAUTION: The following post will contain SPOILERS for Episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars that have not been released. The trailer being discussed below has not yet been released to the general public. I imagine sometime in the next month it will appear on Starwars.com.
#5: Frozen in Carbonite:
I can't believe I forgot to mention another image that harkens back to Return of the Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back. One of the iconic images from those films is Han Solo trapped in carbonite.
Well in the season three trailer we also saw someone frozen in carbonate. The person looked male, but other then that I cannot be sure who it is.
#6: New Jedi Character introduced: Even Piell
Even Piell is a weird looking character, kind of a pissed off looking near human version of Yoda. Technically he is a Lannik, and hails from the planet of the same name.
Fans of the prequel movies will remember this Jedi Master as he appeared in The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones as well as in EU material. For me his most prominent appearance was in the novel Coruscant Nights I: Jedi Twilight.
