Star Wars.com has given us a First Look at a new cover for Paul S. Kemp's third Star Wars novel
Riptide, a sequel to the best selling novel
Crosscurrent.

The positioning and size of the text on the cover is an obvious improvement. Kemp's name and the title get a boost in size. The change of the background from more colorful to darker also looks better, more clear and less busy. The only thing I don't think I like is "Star Wars" in pinkish-red, it doesn't seem like the right color given the rest of the cover.
I really like the painted style of the cover and the intense/haunted look on Jaden Korr.
