OUR FULL-COLOR Essential Guides have been hugely popular, and backlist tremendously--there are more than a half-million copies of the seven previous full color Essential Guides in print.

THE FOCAL POINTS of this book--the military and warfare--are of great interest to Star Wars fans, and this will be the very first time that we are dedicating an entire Essential Guide to them.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK: More than sixty full-colored original illustrations will be featured throughout.

ENDURING POPULARITY: The success of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network; the strong buzz building around two new video games, The Force Unleashed II and The Old Republic; and the strong continuing sales of our Star Wars novels proves that Star Wars is as popular as ever.
