What is Star Wars: 1313?

I love it when we get little tidbits of information because then the fandom speculation runs wild like well, wild fire.

The website Fusible.com post a story regarding a new trademark application by Lucasfilm LTD.

UPDATED May 6, 2012 @ 7:42 PM Est:. Star Wars 1313 now looks less likely related to a new film.  Lucasfilm Entertainment Company Ltd. has filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for “Star Wars 1313″.  The filing hints that a new video game will be released.
Entertainment Weekly's website EW.com ran with the story and threw in additional speculation.

The weirdest thing about it is the "1313."  This seems very random, but I think the good folks at Roqoo Depot are on to the right idea, that the number is a URL friendly way of writing the date 1-3-13.  As a teaser website and surrounding promotion for a big announcement.

A new mystery is circling the web. Lucasfilm has begun registering domains under the guise “starwars1313.” What could it mean? A Star Wars historical crossover in the year 1313 AD? The marriage of the Dark Sith Underlord to his Gungan mistress in 1313 BBY? Some think it has to do with Boba Fett and the alias CT-1313 he used. Here on Roqoo Depot, we think it means Star Wars 1-3-13 as in January 1, 2013. What could be so big? We’re laying our bets on Return of the Ewok in 3D!
Or maybe Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones in 3D. We admit, it’s a toss up.

If it is January 3, 2013, then that is about 8 months from now.  It could be Attack of the Clones 3D, if they have determined that TPM 3D was profitable enough to give the 3D conversion treatment to the other films, then this sticks to the reported one film per year re-release schedule.  TPM 3D was released on February 10th but the one month difference in time of year of release is small enough that it would still seem to fit.

I don't think it is likely but it would be cool if it was an announcement regarding the Live-Action Series.
