Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 3 Blu-ray and DVD release October 18th

The official site has issued a press release announcing the U.S. release date for TCW S3 on Blu-ray and DVD.

The Complete Season 3 will be coming out on October 18th, 2011.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Complete Season Three will be available on October 18th for the suggested retail price of $44.98 for DVD and $59.99 for Blu-ray.

StarWars.com also has two videos related to the Blu-ray/DVD release, one is an excerpt of a commentary featurette of the Nightsister Trilogy with Kilian Plunket and Dave Filoni.  The other is a trailer for the sets themselves, which features Katie Lucas who will be doing some commentary on the Nightsisters Trilogy on the sets, as revealed on Twitter (@KRLgrrl).
